Given the glowing reviews this company had, we were not hesitant to move forward with them and request an... aluminum fence. The quote was over three grand, but we figured it would be worth it for a job well done. Unfortunately I am regretting my decision to not do more homework beforehand.After the crew finished the install, no one let us know to come out and check it out or that they were finished - they just left. When we went out to see what the fence looked like, it was clear the work was sloppy with cement unprofessionally poured and debris everywhere.I emailed Johnathan and asked if they could please address the sloppy cement (see photos of how they cement was poured and splattered). He told me he would let me know when a crew would be coming by. I never heard back but a few days later it seemed as if someone had covered the cement with dirt. I never heard back or got a follow up.Now, less than two months later, the fence post caps have started to come off. Four so far have fallen off (see photos of four caps that fell off and an example of a post where the cap fell off).I emailed Johnathan to see if someone could come out and affix the caps properly. I also asked about the ten-year warranty that came with the fence, which is supposed to cover issues with materials or workmanship. Instead of receiving an apology or sending someone out to properly affix the caps, he told me "aluminum post caps don't typically come off." He stated this work wouldn't be covered under the warranty and I would have to pay $100 for them to come out and fix it.Save your money and go elsewhere where workmanship and a warranty actually mean something.read more

The wood fence itself was very solid and well done but the cleanup was not done properly. Instead of laying... down a tarp or plastic on our lawn, they piled up dirt and rocks right on the lawn and left it there for me to remove.I called to see if they would come back and remove the mess but I was told that’s the way they do it and he would have to call the office after the weekend to see if they could do anything about it. A Christmas miracle! We moved into a new house in August and got multiple quotes for fencing our larger lot.... Other companies made a huge stink about how large our yard was and we received multiple quotes for over 10k. (Even though one of the longest sides already had fence from our neighbor!) I decided to keep shopping to see if another company could provide a more reasonable price. Tim came out and walked the property with us and gave us multiple fence options. FenceWorks won the job with a fair & reasonable price. Tim came out with the crew the morning of the job and walked the property with me and the crew so that everyone was on the same page about gates, property lines, etc. Pancho & Jose worked a LONG day on 12/23 to finish the job before Christmas Eve. They even cleared undergrowth and small trees that were in the way, which other companies told me I would have to hire someone else to do. I am so thankful for their hard work. The fence exceeded my expectations and my dogs are loving that they can finally roam after being restricted to neighborhood walks on leashes for several months. Last year we had a neighbor's huge tree fall onto our split rail fence in the rear yard. After much research... I chose Precision Fenceworks to replace the 184 feet of damaged fence. When this was done, the new fencing was so much better quality than my existing fence I contracted them for additional work. They replaced the remaining 279 feet of fence and installed a four foot walk and an eight foot lawn equipment gate. During the installation a main irrigation line was damaged, as can happen since those lines are not marked. I addition to repairing the broken line the installers discovered an additional leak that had not shown up before and fixed that as well. The new fence is beautiful and, because of their installation method, will last a very long time. Precision does all sorts of fence works so if anyone needs that service they can not go wrong with this company.read more

Jon was thorough with communication while installing our horizontal privacy fence. Antonio and his team were... able to get the fence installed in one and a half days (would have been one day but we had rain and some hiccups). The ONLY downside would be the team hitting our cable lines, gas lines, AND main water lines costing an extra 1k out of pocket (that they assured will be reimbursed) but left us with no gas/hot water or cellular service/wifi over night which was a huge inconvenience while wfh and having a small baby to bathe and feed. Other than that, the fence looks phenomenal.read more

I had a so-so experience with FenceWorks of Georgia. Ultimately, they did build a nice-looking fence, but it... took a lot of effort to get there. Here are some issues I encountered:Poor communication- After taking my initial deposit, they never communicated when they had scheduled the install.- They also re-scheduled it multiple times (due to rain) without telling me.- Ultimately, I wasn’t able to be there on install today because of the constant re-scheduling.- They also spelled my wife’s name incorrectly in every email and alternated between calling me sir and ma’am in the same text thread. Not a big deal, but demonstrates their standards of communication.Installation mistakes- The install team built the fence in a different orientation than we discussed — the wire was on the outside. I could’ve prevented this mistake if FenceWorks had been more communicative about the scheduling, but I wasn’t there to supervise the build.- When I mentioned the issue, the FenceWorks rep told me they always build fences with the wire on the outside and that fixing it would require all new materials (doubling the estimated cost), but neither claim was true.- It felt like he was trying to give me the run around, but after I reached out several times, FenceWorks ultimately did fix the issue for free.read more

Each set of workers did a good job, but there were communication gaps with Don, i.e., the pressure workers... showed up quite unexpectedly. The email correspondence from Don had a start date and stated that the pressure washing and staining on our fence would happen after the panels had been replaced (on the start date), but the pressure washers showed up first before the start date. It is understandable though that summer is a busy time. There was only one issue with the paint/stain job, which was properly corrected. All said and done, our fence looks great.read more

We have needed a fence in the back yard since we moved into our home almost five years ago. While this company appeared to have done a good job with the installation of our split rail fence four years... ago, they failed miserably honoring their warranty & customer service. Shortly after the installation, the top of a pine tree fell into the rails between two posts. I repaired the fence since this was my issue. 4 years later 6 vertical posts have rotted and broken off at the ground level. While I doubt that such a small tree top could have caused much damage, I offered to pay for 1/3 of the cost of replacing all six rotten fence posts. They refused my offer and agreed to a very small discount, stating that the damage to all 6 posts (rotten and broke off) was not their responsibility.Their 10 year warranty is meaningless and their customer service after receiving payment is terrible.DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!read more

I would never hire someone for such an important project based solely on their price. Fortunately for us,... Fenceworks offered the best price (far lower than the highest bid) and did a job beyond our expectations. We were afraid we might be getting Home Depot-level fencing, but the work is rock solid, built slat by slat with substantial wood, and there is zero "give" to the fencing. It isn't going anywhere. They also handled our request for a double-wide gate on one side, and every corner post and gate post is 6x6, not 4x4.The customer service experience was also superior. Our contact, Brittney, was professional, arrived when she said she would, was there the morning of the install to walk through the job, and returned with her crew to correct a small issue with one part of the fence without complaint.
